Here’s everything you need to know about registration.
Access On-Line Registration:
2. Return to the ALC Home Page and select Register On-Line from the top menu bar.
Registration Dates:
Opens: December 22, 2007 Closes: January 20, 2008
Players will be registered after January 20 if there is space in the appropriate division. Registration for some age levels could close early due to the slots filling up.
Registration Process and Forms:
ALC has an on-line registration system. Families are encouraged to use the on-line process because it reduces the amount of back-office work. However, internet and email access is not required in order to participate. Families without regular reliable access to the internet and/or email can contact the club by phone and we will make alternative arrangements. Details will be distributed through the normal channels including this distribution list.
Residency Requirement:
1. Families registering players for the first time in a spring season must be residents of the City of Alexandria. All present and future participants must be residents of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
2. The player’s residency is defined by the residency of their parent(s).
3. Players who skipped seasons and are not residents of the City of Alexandria need to contact the club by email to confirm status.
4. Families who participated in a previous spring season as city residents but have since relocated outside of the city need to contact the club by email to confirm status.
5. Participation in the fall clinic does not eliminate the city residency requirement for the spring game season.
Proof of Residency and Age Documents:
Every player needs to have residency document(s) and a proof of age document on file with the club. These are submitted once per player and do not need to be submitted each year unless requested by the club. ALC reserves the right to ask for new documentation or additional documentation on any player.
