Mission Statement
WELCOME TO THE ALEXANDRIA LACROSSE CLUB
Alexandria Lacrosse Club (ALC) is dedicated to the instruction and development of boys and girls lacrosse in the City of Alexandria. Founded in 2003, the mission of ALC is to provide children, ages five through fifteen, the opportunity to learn and play the sport of lacrosse while developing a lifelong love of the game.
ALC coaches are committed to helping develop our young players into better athletes while helping to instill lifelong values of being better teammates, better competitors, and better citizens.
Our board of directors, coaches, players, parents, and alumni are extremely proud of our program and continue to play a vital role in helping to grow this incredible sport.
ALC offers a complete lacrosse experience for players of all skill levels, including:
- Supplying fields, equipment, coaches, and league play in Northern Virginia Youth Lacrosse League (NVYLL)
- Providing scholarships to those in need
- Educating players, coaches, and parents in the traditions of lacrosse
- Teaching respect for the game, one another, and our competitors
ALC’s game season starts in March and runs through the end of June. Registration for the spring season opens in early December. Contact the club at AlexandriaLacrosseClub@yahoo.com for information on our program and to inquire about coaching and volunteer opportunities.
